BRIEF SUMMARY:
Journalist Kayama (Nakamura Toru), who is covering the war zone, gets news that
Shinozuka (Kunimura Jun), the criminal serving time for the murder of a young
child 12 years ago, was actually falsely accused of crime. At that time, Kayama
was reporting on this case and had proceeded to write about Shinozuka being the
criminal, but it is proved to be wrong after the passage of 12 years.
Shinozuka’s lawyer, Ishihara (Kuroki Hitomi) holds a press conference where she
criticises the sloppy investigation by the police and speaks of suing for the 12
years that Shinozuka had lost. However, Shinozuka’s daughter, Miho (Motokariya
Yuika) has mixed feelings for her father as he is released from prison now.
While the victim’s older sister, Hiroko (Mimura) finds it difficult to accept

戰地記者的加山（仲村亨飾）得到了一個令人驚訝的消息，12年前發生的少女殺人事件的犯人筱塚（國村隼飾）竟是被冤枉的。當時報導此案的加山，確信筱塚就是犯人而一直持續報導這件事；然而12年過去了，警方又重新立案並承認當時弄錯了。
筱塚的律師石原（黑木瞳飾）召開記者會，指責警方查案輕率，使當事人蒙受12年的不白之冤。但是筱塚的女兒美保（本假屋唯香飾），抱著複雜的心情而無法面對剛剛出獄的父親。被害少女的姊姊（MIMURA飾）也表示他們一家很難接受這個事實。而員警淺田（陣內孝則飾）對於逮捕了無辜之人並讓其入獄，也感到無比震驚與失落。再加上對錯誤報導懷抱著愧疚的加山，這一群人不得不面對“冤罪”這一事實。
