BRIEF SUMMARY:
Based on the Japanese comic series, One of the most famous and lovable
Buddhist little monks in Japan named Ikkyu is in live action.
Following the life of lkkyu, son of the Emperor
Komatsu, who enters the Yasukuni Temple in hopes of becoming a monk. To this day
Ikkyusan remains one of Japan's most successful animation series. Though
Ikkyu was well loved by audiences for his clever and witty approach to resolving
conflicts, he is perhaps best known for his frequent prayers to the "teruteru
bozu" doll made from his mother's clothes - symbolizing his enduring love for
his mother in spite of being forbidden from seeing her. A must see classic
series for the entire family!

劇 情﹕由日本歷史人物一休宗純禪師的童年為背景,講述他童年的一些有趣故事,加上史料改編,1980年代在日本推出的卡通《一休和尚》,在日本播了8年之久,之後引進台灣,也獲得熱烈迴響,
不僅動畫有名,富士台還拍攝了幾個版本的真人一休,邀請了富田靖子、淺香唯等人飾演,每一部都備受關注,制作人吉田豪說：“這次的一休邀請了鈴木福飾演,小一休的成長故事,以及鈴木福將如何去詮釋都很值得關注.”
一休總是以過人機智解決難題,招牌動作是盤坐思考、用手指在頭頂打轉,這個特別劇分為三部分,由三篇組成,分別講述了有趣、師徒感情和親情,一休最好的朋友也是保護人蜷川新佑衛門(總兵大人)由成宮寬貴飾演,安田成美飾演一休的母親,
少年隊成員東山紀之飾演將軍大人,童星小林星蘭飾演小妍妹妹,卡司堅強.
鈴木福透露,從小就喜歡看《一休和尚》漫畫書,現在自己居然有幸出演實在是嚇了一跳卻又非常高興,更有趣的是劇中有不少讓自己感歎居然會拍出來的場景,談到一休鈴木福表示：“很喜歡他頭腦很好、樂於助人、很溫柔,很希望自己可以變成一休那樣的人.”
鈴木福為了演出一休,特地到寺廟體驗小和尚生活,他說：“我覺得做和尚真辛苦啊，要一直坐禪，坐得腿腳又麻又疼。”試穿服裝時,鈴木福剃了光頭穿起來袈裟十分可愛,大家公認他和一休實在太像,不光是長相,就連說“不要著急,不要著急,休息,休息一會兒”的悠閒樣子都十分神似,鈴木福對該劇也是信心滿滿,他說：“我想做一個微笑的一休!”
