BRIEF SUMMARY:
Jikan no Kuni no Alice" captures the images of the artist Fukada Kyoko who has
become popular since her impressive acting in " God, Please give me more
time". The film is based on the Thai legend. Directed by Masako Matsuura, with
the cinematographer Noboru Shinoda ("Swallowtail").
In this beautifully done film, Fukada Kyoko portrays a young lady who has
been waiting patiently for her love to come home from abroad. After her
loved one comes home after 4 years in England. She thought they could finally be
together and live happily after. However, her heart was broken after she
was told that he will be leaving again soon. Upon his departure, he gave
the young lady an antique pocket watch as her birthday gift. little does
she know this ordinary pocket watch will transform her life into Alice Wonderland.
