BRIEF SUMMARY: Izumi Konno is a beautiful but unhappy woman who wishes she could be reborn ugly. In fact, Izumi is so beautiful that she's chased by every man she meets, to the point where she can't have a decent life. She constantly searches for a way to be "unpopular" and when she goes out, it's always in costume to hide herself from the world. Izumi is a model for popular oil painter Jin Aoyama as well as his mistress. She's in love with Jin, but is tormented on a daily basis by the man's wife and his other girlfriends. This sad romance develops further as she interacts with best friend Tsune and art student Keisuke.
This series is based on the popular gag comic by Akiko Higashimura, who's got quite a following, especially among young women. The TV adaptation portrays the suffering and sad, unrequited love that a beautiful woman goes through, but with plenty of comedic touches.---Fujitv

劇 情﹕以絕世的不幸美女為中心，發生在東京都墨田區向島的奇妙故事。

因為東京美術大學教授青山仁去義大利翡冷翠旅行，所以特地找了油畫系的學生赤松啟介來畫室「Atelier jin」幫忙教學，當他一走進畫室門口時，

黑髮的綠川常突然跳出來攔住他：「這個教室裏有個美女，說是美女，但是跟普通程度的美女不一樣，非常非常美的美女，美得不可方物，超級無敵大美女，所有見過她的男人，全部在一秒內迷上這個女人，告白然後被甩、成為跟蹤狂、被警察抓、導致退學、最後成為廢人，回到鄉下後就下落不明，有這個覺悟再進去！」，

太過美麗而無法得到幸福因為全世界的所有男性都會對她一見傾心，並展開瘋狂攻勢進行追求。 7月7日七夕之日開始播出的周六時段電視劇，是以絕世的不幸美女為中心，在東京商業街區發生的情感故事。

與陌生人也可以產生比家人還要深刻的羈絆，但得不到心愛之人的傾心。本劇以搞笑的風格講述了這樣的一場悲劇的單戀。主人公是一名超級不幸的美女，紺野泉（菜菜緒）。她因擁有無可言表的美貌，使遇見她的男性過目難忘，招致眾多男性的追求，而無法正常生活，最終只好脫離人群飽受孤獨之苦。
性格有些柔弱的美院學生赤松啟介（中丸雄一）為了學分，在美院教授青山仁（風間徹）的繪畫班擔任講師。在那裡他遇到了仁的情人泉，極力否定她的美貌，卻又無可抗拒地被其吸引。本劇以紺野泉的多角關係為線索，將單戀的苦楚描繪地淋漓盡致。明知是沒有結果的婚外戀，卻對青山仁死心塌地的泉；以及不恥泉的行為，卻又矛盾地被其吸引的超級正經美院學生赤松啟介；還有支持著泉卻又對赤松抱有好感的傲嬌中學生綠川常（草刈麻有）……等等性格飽滿的人物都會一一登場
