BRIEF SUMMARY:
Todo Hinako (Haru) is a rookie detective who has been assigned to the Tokyo
Metropolitan Police Department’s First Investigative Division. She never forgets
case information once she has illustrated it. One day, Hinako goes to the scene
where the body of a man who died an unnatural, gruesome death has been found. He
was a suspect in an unsolved murder case. It is presumed from the situation at
the scene that the man committed suicide, but inconceivable that he did that to
himself. Moreover, it is the same method used in the murder case that he was
suspected of committing. Is it truly suicide or murder? With the support of
individualistic members such as her competent senior, a geeky forensics officer
and a female medical examiner called the god of death, Hinako investigates a
series of baffling, bizarre murder cases. There is a darkness in her heart and
