BRIEF SUMMARY:
In 1988, Odajima Yasuo (Arakawa Yoshiyoshi), a researcher of spirits and ghosts,
is intrigued by the strange phenomenon that TV personality Honjo Haruka
(Kuroshima Yuina) experienced. He met Haruka through a television variety show
on the occult and she had consulted him about the sound of footsteps in her
house in the middle of the night. At the same time, a high school student Kiyomi
(Ririka) who was forced to transfer schools due to some trouble, is asked by her
new classmates to go to a vacant house called the cat compound. She visits the
place treating it as a test of her courage.
