 翔太高三下學期才從東京轉來富山第三高校,原來個性陰沉的翔太因為明里偶然在英語課本中畫上可愛插圖當作謝禮,又大方開朗地邀了翔太一起和葵回家而漸漸變得親密了起來公平因為聽到足球社的人氣王內田打算要向明理告白而急忙向葵通報,但葵不僅表現得不以為意,還推波助瀾地要明里和內田一起去看煙火大會,讓明里因此與葵冷戰了一個月多,直到翔太終於看不下去而鼓勵葵既然有心事悶在心裡不如就向明里說清楚講明白,讓葵終於鼓起勇氣向明里邀約一起去看煙火大會,還要明里快拒絕內田的約會. 想到隔天就要和葵一起參加煙火大會的明里在翔太的鼓勵之下買了浴衣,不料回家卻見到被討債集團施暴的父親而在父親命令下去葵家暫住,卻因為突遇翔太而驚慌地抱緊了翔太,恰巧葵就撞見這情景而認為明里的意中人是翔太而讓翔太代替自己與明里參加煙火大會,但明里因為隔天就要隨著父親離開富山而拒絕了翔太、回頭去找葵,卻因為無法輕易說出自己隔天就要離別的話而以深情一吻當作離

隔天翔太本來要與葵一起去找明里,卻因為見到葵抽屜夾藏在航海王（又稱ONE PIECE）51卷的信,而拿走了明里離別前寫給葵的信. 2015年,翔太突然來找葵一起出來吃飯卻驚見明里也出現在同一餐廳,還知道明里目前與翔太是戀人關係
