BRIEF SUMMARY:
Narita Makoto, a young lawyer at the law firm ‘Axle’, discovers that the
respected lawyer, Ninomiya Toru, has been stabbed in the chest and killed in
their office. However, he is also attacked by someone right after that, and
loses consciousness. Waking up at a hospital, Narita is interrogated by public
prosecutor, Mafune Joe, and his assistant officer, Saegusa Ryoko, for the murder
of a lawyer as well as arson, embezzlement and robbery. Kobayakawa Miyuki, the
only eyewitness who can verify Narita’s alibi, denies seeing him. Sensing that
he has been framed by someone, Narita escapes from the hospital. Ninomiya’s
daughter, Emi, cannot hide her shock when she learns that Narita, whom she
fancies, is a suspect. Meanwhile, Narita encounters Hirose Yuya, who has tried
to commit suicide, while on the run to search for the real criminal. Hirose had
made a fresh start after his wife left him, and started a ramen shop in the hope
of reuniting with his daughter. However, he was tricked by a real estate
company, and forced to evict. Flaring up when told that the memo exchanged is
invalid, Hirose steals a wallet and runs away. He is placed on the wanted list
for assault and robbery. Narita tries to persuade a desperate Hirose to see his
daughter. Looking at his daughter from afar, Hirose decides to give himself up
and start over. But before that, Hirose tells Narita that he has a favour to ask
of him …

成田誠（上地雄輔）是一位年輕有為的律師多年前因為得到恩人二之宮徹相助，後來加入他的律師行成為他的得力助手無論是二之宮還是其他同事，對誠的人品與能力也相當好的評價然而他卻不知道自己已被捲進一場黑暗的旋渦裡
某天晚上，誠為了交還文件所以駕單車返回事務所途中遇上同事小早川美由紀當誠踏進事務所，發現倒在辦公桌後的二之宮律師忽然黑影出現，誠來不及轉身已被打昏，還被丟到後樓梯誠想立即返回現場，但卻受到大爆炸的衝擊而再次昏倒當他醒來發現身在醫院，二之宮被證實死亡
檢察官真船丈（北村一輝）很快鎖定誠是殺害二之宮的兇手不知是因為證據還是他個人的感情因素他沒有給誠太多辯解餘地，決定直接把他拘捕歸案或許是多年的職場直覺，誠了解到自己身陷險境趁護士放花瓶時直接從病房逃跑出去雖然警方已佈下天羅地網，還是被他跳到鄰座大廈
