BRIEF SUMMARY:  This winter  special was aired in Jan 2010, On a day in January 2010, patients are brought in one after another. Because of a major accident, Kudo Ryosuke (Ishida Takuya), who has resumed work, also joins in. Kaede and her team of doctors and nurses receive the severely injured patients as they are brought in consecutively while Kudo and Kamoi Chinatsu (Kitano Kie), move patients with minor injuries to the general ward to free up the beds in the ICU. At that moment, the lights go out inside the hospital and it is pitch dark. The power outage has been caused by a hit to high-voltage cables nearby as a result of a fallen helicopter and for some unknown reason, the auxiliary power supply will not work. With only minimal equipment available for use, Kainan Medical Hospital’s critical and emergency care centre becomes a war zone …
 

劇 名﹕救命病棟24小時~2010冬季特別篇   DVD

劇 情﹕   從澤井悅司（中山裕介飾）處得知研修醫生工藤亮介（石田卓也飾）使用安眠藥的事情之后，近藤新一（江口洋介飾）和小島楓（松島菜菜子飾）非常吃驚。楓勸工藤不要再這么做了，但是工藤完全不聽。某建築工地發生了事故，請求派遣緊急救護車。但是澤井禁止過緊急救護車的出動。于是近藤派楓，工藤，護士山城紗江子（木村多江飾）和佐伯透（西山聰飾）趕赴現場。
被建築材料壓在下面的傷者有兩位。楓迅速診斷之后，將輕傷患者交付給工藤，自己隨著重傷患者乘急救車返回了急救中心。但是輕傷患者情況突變，工藤急忙給近藤打電話請求指示。近藤火速趕赴現場，可惜工藤的緊急救助無效，患者死亡。自此之后，工藤再也沒有去過醫院。
