BRIEF SUMMARY:
A tiny Japanese island
surrounded by beautiful coral reefs which only takes less than hour to tour. The
small island only has population of 49 people whose average age is 63.5..
There is no hospital, no police station, no bank, and not a single store on this
island. The only young person on the island is leaving and the serious problem
of depopulation has the whole island feeling devastated.
It is their one hope
of saving the island from dying along with the current aging population and
losing their heritage. They finally figured out a way of keeping the
population going is to bring people into this island by adoption. If each of
them gets to adopt one child there will be 49 new lives to keep the island
going. Shortly after that, they welcome their first adoptee to the island,
A six grade girl who has lived life ahead of her time and has turned more than
few tricks to survive in life without a real family. Can she adapt the
