BRIEF SUMMARY: Certain circumstances have made 25-year-old Suzumiya Miki (Inoue Mao) desire secure employment. So she became a public servant. However, her job is the most detested in the world. 劇 情﹕井上真央主演夏季NTV水10新劇《特官～特別國稅徵收官》，原著為輕小說作家高殿圓在「Mystery Magazine」上連載的小說，之後在女性漫畫雜誌「YOU」漫畫化。

故事講述東京國稅局管理的京橋中央稅務署，新人鈴宮深樹（井上真央）屬於專門對付特別難搞的案件（多為金額特高）的特別徵收部門，擔當「特別國稅徵收官」，通稱「特官」(トッカン)，每天為了和惡意逃稅的人周旋。

「國稅徵收官」是日本稅務署專門負責徵收稅款的人員。不僅要從事超過繳納期限的稅金的督促，到訪滯納人的家中進行教導，還要處理私人財產、拍賣等處罰工作。

這工作與1987年伊丹十三執導電影《國稅查察之女》及2010年米倉涼子《國稅查察官》的主角所做的不同。「特官」主要目標不是調查，而是鎖定對象進行稅務徵收為主，為了達到目的他們會動用強制搜索及查封的權力，甚至會配備武器出動，可說是國稅局的「行動組」。

主角鈴宮深樹本是神戶和菓子屋的女兒，為了安定的生活大學畢業後去參加公務員考試，在國稅専門官合格後被編入成為特別國稅徵收官，專門對付惡意逃稅案件，包括查封資産家闊太的高級名車及愛犬，和銀座高級俱樂部和媽媽生大戰，到貧乏的工廠追討稅務，為了揭發雙重帳簿而潛入到咖啡店等。

鈴宮性格內向，有意見想表達時也只是「咕咕」地把話悶在嘴裡，故此被上司稱為「咕子」，但她精通事務十分勤力並不斷學習，十分重視朋友及親人，面對生活中出現的各種困難，會邊煩惱邊積極地面向未來成長。

至於她的上司鏡雅愛（北村有起哉）是個冷血無情的人，對逃稅者採用鐵腕政策，會不問情由強行捜索及直接查封，在部門內被視為「死神」的存在，同時也會不斷地向鈴宮進行毒舌攻擊，但也是她的最佳學習對象。
