BRIEF SUMMARY: It has been 2 months since the events of Yabou-hen. 遺恨 明治十三年最后的復仇

劇 情﹕《遺恨明治十三年最後的復仇》以最後士族的復仇來代表日本武士道精神與明治維新初期的西化法治國家社會兩個思想精神極端對立的故事。受盡士族俸祿幾百年卻日漸墮落造成不平等人民待遇是明治以國家人民為由之時代與進步的趨勢立場，但引發出代表武士道復仇精神的日本傳統士族大義的卻是末代士族的悲情人物臼井六郎。劇中的臼井六郎(藤原竜也)對於復仇的堅定意志早在幼時父親被弒當下就已造就，以致跨越明治時期的犯罪和自首都完全接受且非以武士身份要求平反，若以日本傳統武士精神來貫穿本劇倒缺乏說服力，講求最終兩位元兇的復仇和無法擺脫的復仇信念，這樣扭曲一意孤行的態度反而變成讓人畏懼、進而想觀其全象端倪、這樣悲壯的苦痛人生。
