BRIEF SUMMARY:
The new surgeon Mahigashi Teru, who has finished his internship, arrives at
Yasuda Memorial Hospital – a hospital which famous doctors aim for and which has
the world’s best operating theatres. He is quickly assigned to be the assistant
in an emergency operation but he cannot keep up with the talented surgeon Kitami
Shuichi and is kicked out of the operating theatre. Teru works hard in order to
regain confidence but it is fruitless … Then one day, the hospital receives a
request from a rescue team to accept a patient who needs urgent treatment. The
hospital director, Yasuda Junji is not in, Kitami has gone into another
emergency operation and Teru is the only doctor left. The patient’s condition
worsens by the minute … At that moment, Teru’s heartbeat quickens …
