BRIEF SUMMARY:
One day, Fujimaki Daisuke (Yanagiba Toshiro), a dull middle-aged salaryman who
works for a trading company, is ordered to “temporarily transfer” to Asunaro
University’s cheering squad instead of getting laid off, on the grounds that the
cheering squad of company president’s alma mater is on the verge of being
dissolved. At an assembly where the old boys are gathered, the secretary general
announces that Fujimaki will be accepted and made the head of the cheering
squad. He is thrown into the squad. As he gets antiquated customs “Always have
your school uniform on”, “Reply ‘Ossu'”, “A senior’s word is the law” drilled
into him by old boy Saito Yuichi (Sorimachi Takashi), he becomes hooked on the

柳葉敏郎15年來地上波初主演，《羅漢柏三三七拍子》由《鳶》重松清同名小說改編，故事講述在公司工作的一般50歲中年打工族藤卷大介（柳葉敏郎），因為現今大學生沒有人喜歡古風的應援，翌檜大學應援團陷入廢部危機，在舊生會幹事長提議下讓大介入學成為應援團長，把「要常穿制服」「回應要用『押忍！』」等前時代的基本精神男子氣概放在現代，領導學部跨越危機。
共演有大學3年生松下沙耶（剛力彩芽），對以男性為主導的古風社會相當討厭，為達成廢部的目標加入應援團成為刺客。另外有應援團的舊生齊藤裕一（反町隆史），是大介女兒的男友，被他命令加入應援團進行熱血指導。此外有染金髮戴耳環只活在當下的大學生保阪翔（風間俊介），和大介不和的啦啦隊隊長葉月玲奈（高畑充希）。
